Abstract

The reliability of power system matters vital to people's livelihood. Establish insulator leakage current on-line monitoring system can greatly improve reliability of the power system and reduce the maintenance cost of the power system. In this paper, a data routing algorithm for insulator leakage current monitoring system is proposed. Firstly, through to analysis the distribution of insulator in actual power line, a new network model is established. Secondly, by considering the data forwarding energy consumption and node's communication range, a more practical data route planning algorithm to extend the network life cycle is proposed. Simulation results show that the data routing algorithm can prolong the lifetime of the network.
