Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study the residual life prediction model of joint rotating structure with multiple failure modes and considered the correlation of failure model. By mean of collecting relevant experiment data of vibration signal and temperature signal in the life test of the joint rotating structure, and have an analysis of time domain and frequency domain in order to get out failure modes and mechanism of wear and fatigue. The characteristic parameters that characterize the healthy state of joint rotating structure obviously are extracted further. Considering that the joint rotating structure expose wear and fatigue in the working process in most case, joint rotating structure fault diagnosis method is based on fuzzy theory. It is used to clarify the failure mechanism of wear and fatigue coupling, and the degradation rule of performance characteristic parameters. It's very essential that establish the clear relationships between performance degradation and fault characteristic signal. According to the fault diagnosis results, the failure mode considered wear and fatigue coupling is established. The relationship between fatigue and wear is expressed by Copula theory. Base on degradation of the characteristic parameters, failure modes considered wear and fatigue coupling is used to predict residual life of joint rotating structure. The results of residual life prediction are verified by compared with the actual measured values in subsequent life experiments, which shows that it's feasible and necessary enough to predict residual life of joint rotating structure.
