Abstract

Objective: To analyze the residents' satisfaction with family doctors contracted services in Xi'an, and provide scientific basis for government departments to strengthen the construction of community health services, improve the quality of community health services and residents satisfaction. Method: Through consulting literatures, expert consultation and other methods to screen 12 service indexes, and the weighted rank sum ratio method was used to evaluate the satisfaction of family doctor's contracted service quality in different types of communities and family residents in Xi'an. Results: According to the survey of residents' satisfaction in Xi'an, it was found that the top three weighting factors in the evaluation index system are medical equipment (0.27), propaganda method (0.10) and home service (0.10). Using the weighted rank sum ratio method, we found that traditional old communities, community units, low-income families and empty-nest families are more satisfied with family doctor's contract service. However, comprehensive community and urban-rural community as well as high-income families, families with reorganization and chronic disease are less satisfied with family doctor's contract service. Conclusion: The medical equipment of community institutions, propaganda methods of family doctors contract service and the quality of home service are important factors which affecting the development of the business. In the family physician contract services process of actively implementing, Xi'an city should take advantage of strengthening the construction of the general practitioner team and improving the professional quality of medical staff and the utilization rate of medical equipment. Using the Internet plus to build a family physician contract service platform, strengthen the publicity and promotion of this service, strengthen the construction of community health service system and improve the convenience and normativeness of family doctors' contracted services.
