Abstract

The friction coefficient of lateral force is an important index to evaluate the skid resistance of roads. The repeatable calibration technology of the coefficient depends on the road for a long time. The uncertainty introduced by the road surface in the calibration process is large, and the test process needs to close the road, which affects normal traffic. In this paper, the repeatability calibration technology of the lateral force friction coefficient was studied, and an indoor calibration device of the lateral force friction coefficient was developed. The calibration device was built by comparing the transmission scheme and the main component. The repeatability calibration method of the lateral force friction coefficient was designed, and the calibration test was carried out. The measurement uncertainty of the repeatability deviation coefficient was evaluated as U=1% (k=2).
