Abstract

Radar servo system, as an important part of mechanic scanning radar and mechanism-phase scanning radar, plays an important role in the process of regular work. Aiming at the requirements of some complex application conditions for radar servo system, such as high overload, strong interference and fast response, this paper systematically analyzed the reliability of radar servo system based on FMECA model, and identified the risk links in its design and application process. Focusing on the weaknesses of radar servo system in telecommunication, structure and process, effects of optimization of driving mode chopper, optimization design of anti-interference, structure design of antenna pedestal and damage detection of servo system on the stability of radar servo system are explored, then methods which help to improve the reliability of servo system are presented and further verified by experiment and simulation. Results show that the presented methods in this paper can effectively improve the reliability of radar servo system, which provide important references for subsequent design and maintenance.
