Abstract
In cellular networks, the introduction of device-to-device (D2D) technology could promote cell coverage and improve user experience. In this paper, we consider the scenario of relay assisted D2D communications, and propose a relay selection and resource allocation joint algorithm. The algorithm takes relay selection and resource allocation into consideration simultaneously. And we determine the optimal relay node based on maximum capacity of D2D relay link while guaranteeing the QoS requirement of cellular user (CU) who shares spectrum resources with D2D user. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm could absolutely fulfill the QoS requirement of the partner CU, and significantly promote the capacity of D2D relay link and spectral efficiency.
