Abstract

Regional economic integration has become inevitable to promote the further development of regional economy in China and Mongolia. Since China’s reform and opening up and Mongolia’s democratic revolution, China Mongolia regional economic cooperation has been developing continuously. This paper summarizes the trend of economic cooperation between China and Mongolia through the analysis of economic and trade cooperation between China and Mongolia and the influencing factors of regional economy.

Highlights

  • There is a positive correlation between the degree of opening up of China and Mongolia and the scale of bilateral trade, with a correlation coefficient is 0.205. This relationship number indicates that the bilateral trade is not close enough to some extent, is the regional economic cooperation between China and Mongolia not close enough

  • China Mongolia regional economic cooperation always has been a state of non-stability in the region, and the two countries have faced stagnation in the process of cooperation development, it is still necessary to see the benefits that such cooperation can bring to the two countries

  • The cooperation between China and Mongolia in various fields such as politics, economy, trade, culture, education and environmental protection has entered a stage of steady development
