Abstract

AbstractThis study takes Nongke Village, Pidu District, Chengdu as the research object, on the basis of field investigation and quantitative collection of its landscape spatial information by digital technology, the characteristics of crowd recreation are quantitatively measured by questionnaire survey and participatory evaluation, and the data superposition analysis is carried out based on ArcGIS platform to explore the characteristics of crowd recreation behavior in the landscape space of rural new communities in the Western Sichuan Plain. The results show that: (1) Residents’ recreational periods are relatively scattered, while foreign visitors’ recreational periods are relatively concentrated, and there are significant differences among different age groups; (2) There are significant differences in the recreational stops between residents and foreign visitors, and there are significant differences between residents of different ages. Farmyards and squares are landscape spaces where most people stop more; (3) The recreational types of foreign visitors are more abundant than those of permanent residents, and walking and rest are the recreational types that most people have. The research results can provide theoretical basis and data support for improving the landscape space quality of rural new communities.
