Abstract

Promotion in the digital age is an exploration of how people use various technical tools to promote reading. This study will examine what types of tools and strategies are used, why they are used, and their effectiveness. Anyone with an Internet enabled personal computer or smart phone can participate in the study. All participants will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire to understand their reading habits, including which websites they visit to obtain information about books and authors, whether they read e-books (or other electronic formats), and which strategies help them maintain their motivation to read more frequently.
