Abstract

In order to explore the problem of voltage off-limit during the operation of photovoltaic(PV) power station in high altitude areas, this paper proposes a combined coordinated optimization control strategy for reactive economic distribution of large-scale PV power plants. The strategy selects the PI controller to realize a non-different adjustment, thereby tracks the required reactive power to control the voltage of the grid connected point by the Static Var Compensator (SVC)and the PV inverter, and also to modify the control strategy according to the reactive capacity constraint of the PV inverter. The simulation results show that the strategy can stably control the voltage of the grid-connected point of the PV power station and reduce the line loss in the PV power station, which is in line with the actual operation demands of the PV power plant in High Altitude Area, thereby demonstrates the rationality of the control strategy.
