Abstract

The connection between the AC/DC ultra-high voltage sending end system and the bulk power system is weak, and it faces more severe system operation risks. This paper improves the safety of system operation from the perspective of reactive power and voltage control, establishes an analysis method for the feasible range of reactive power and voltage of the sending end system considering the faults of the sending end system and the extreme fluctuation of wind power, and proposes a coordinated control strategy for reactive power and voltage of the sending end wind power cluster based on the real-time calculation results of the central node bus voltage safety range, so as to improve the safety margin and operation flexibility of the sending end grid and improve the power grid’s ability to withstand the impact of AC and DC faults.
