Abstract

In wireless communication systems, very low frequency(VLF) and ultra-low frequency(ULF) waves have the advantage of strong penetrating ability, which are mainly used for underwater and underground communication, earthquake and lightning forecasting. At present, most VLF and ULF antennas are bulky, requiring hundreds of antennas or more to be erected, which is costly and has low radiation efficiency. This paper proposes a way to generate VLF and ULF signals by driving the mechanical rotation of permanent magnets, which improves the problem of low radiation efficiency of VLF and ULF signals.
