Abstract

As a kind of widely used form of two-dimensional codes, the QR codes have been widely applied in various aspects of our life, but in the process of the use of the QR codes, the QR code images captured often suffer from deformity because the QR code label is attached onto the object irregular surface (for example, a curved surface) or the camera, and the QR code label is different in position. This paper improves the definition of images and thus, effectively improves the recognition rate by adopting the morphological closure and edge detection algorithm and effectively improving the classic correction algorithm for QR code image based on shape function as for QR code image with surface distortion.
