Research on Pre-Grouting Technique of Blind Shaft of Metal Mine in Southwest China

Abstract

In order to ensure the safe and rapid excavation of the shaft, the blind shaft of MAO PING mine was treated by pre-grouting. The “S” borehole directional drilling was used, and the clay cement grout was selected as the grouting material. After the completion of the construction, the remaining water inflow of the shaft grouting section was measured to be 4.83m3/h by water pressure test. The blind shaft pre-grouting project has been successfully implemented, and its design and construction technology have important guiding significance for the application of water prevention and control in mining areas which located in southwest China.
