Abstract

STAR CCM+ is adopted to simulate the sloshing process of two-layer liquid at a resonant frequency, and the relation between Reynolds number and sloshing impact pressure is analyzed by controlling such parameters as liquid depth ratio and viscosity of two-layer fluid, to predict the impact pressure generated by two-layer fluid during sloshing. The research result is of certain theoretical guidance value for guaranteeing the structural safety of liquid cargo tanks.
