Abstract

This paper proposes a strategy of Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) applied to the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) sensor-less system. Speed-loop controller and current-loop controller based on ADRC were used in the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system. The speed is estimated by extended state observer (ESO) of ADRC. In additional, since the controller has many parameters to be adjusted, the typical structure of active disturbance rejection controller was simplified and the setting parameters were reduced. The simulation results showed that the simplified ADRC controller has simpler structure. Compared with the PI controller, the simplified ADRC controller has smaller steady-state error and stronger anti-interference ability. Compared with the Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS), the motor has better speed estimate effect in low speed and the dynamic performance of the system is improved.
