Abstract
To arrange and optimize maintenance tasks for large-scale equipment, a method of planning periodic maintenance schedules was put forward. Based on the characteristics of maintenance of large-scale equipment, the structure of maintenance knowledge was analyzed. In addition, the overall framework of preventive maintenance plan for large-scale equipment was developed. Planning and optimization principles for maintenance plan were then proposed based on relationships among maintenance types, the basic algorithms for periodic maintenance schedules in Large-scale Equipment Maintenance Support Information System (LEMSIS) were provided. Finally, availability of the proposed method was demonstrated by the application.
