Abstract

Storage battery is one of the essential equipment in substation. Its operation stability directly affects the safety and reliability of substation. In recent years, the internal "false open" problem often occurs in the storage battery used in 220 kV substation. In this paper, the most common type of storage battery used in 220 kV substation has been analyzed, and its structure also has been analyzed. In view of the "false open" fault cases of storage battery used in 220kV substation in recent years, the most typical case has been selected, and the in-depth analysis was carried out from operation mode, test data and fault causes. At the same time, combined with the test data, the improvement measures for the "false open" problem of storage battery have been put forward from handover test, routine test and operation management. The relevant results of this paper can provide theoretical and data support for improving the safe and reliable operation of power storage in 220 kV substation.
