Abstract

The quality control of the electrodeposit is one of the keys to extending the application of electroforming technology. In this paper, experimental equipment was developed to electroform revolving parts. The conformal anode, high frequency pulse current and well chosen electrolyte were employed to carry out Ni–Mn alloy electroforming for a model of the rocket nozzle. The reasons why the electrodeposits broke and pores existed in the deposits were found. By adding additives to the electrolyte and improving agitation of the electrolyte, the break and pore of the deposits were eliminated. Finally, the acceptable electroforms were obtained.
