Abstract

A new electric variable transmission in hybrid electric vehicle is analyzed. The equivalent magnetic circuit and finite element simulation model is established in this paper for analysis of internal magnetic field coupling law. As for the strong coupling relation in the internal magnetic field of electrical transmission, magnetic flux-insulation ring is the electrical the applied into the electric variable transmission in hybrid electric vehicle, and its mathematical model is also built. Then, the working modes of hybrid electric vehicle are analyzed. Power output of engine and electric variable transmission is depended on the power follower strategy. At last, the simulations and experiments have verified that the electric variable transmission can be used in hybrid electric vehicle, thus exploring a new way for the study of hybrid electric vehicles.
