Abstract

In order to resolve the single phase grounding of power plant auxiliary system, the neutral point grounded with a small resistance is an effective means, which can obvious reduced the amplitude and duration of the system overvoltage, According to an auxiliary power system of pumped storage power plant situation, this paper takes the small resistance grounding scheme to study the advantages of the low resistance grounding method of the auxiliary power grounding system, focusing on the selection of neutral point resistance. Through theoretical analysis and simulation calculation, the following conclusions are drawn. The simulation analysis shows that the change of the grounding point transition resistance value has a great influence on the grounding point fault current and neutral point voltage in the low resistance grounding system, which is convenient for fault analysis and search. When the total capacitance current of the system is 80 A, the neutral grounding resistance of the 10 kV auxiliary power system should be 10Ω.
