Abstract
With the development of residential micro-grid, according to the characteristics of DC micro-grid, a multi-port DC/ DC converter and its control strategy are proposed for DC residential micro-grid. This converter is realized by multiplexing the switches of bidirectional Buck/Boost circuit and two bridge arm switches of the phase-shifted full-bridge converter. The secondary side is connected with synchronous Buck converter to form two output ports of high and low voltage. Compared with other multi-port converters, the multi-port DC/ DC converter takes advantages of small size, simple structure, and high power density. Moreover, it can be applied in the DC residential micro-grid environment to realize the functions of "plug and play" of ports, bidirectional flow of energy between ports, electrical isolation and multi-voltage level output. Finally, the circuit model is built by Matlab/Simunlink simulation software to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
