Abstract

It is of great significance to guide the planning of distribution network by rationally configuring the type, position and quantity of switches, and by coordinating the relationship between the supply reliability and the investment economy. In this paper, the multi-objective optimal location model of switches in distribution network is built firstly, and then the investment cost and the expected energy not supplied (EENS) are served as the objective function, finally, a non-dominated sorting differential evolution (NSDE) algorithm is applied to solve the multi-objective optimal problem. Because the location of the switches are binary coded and further converted into decimal calculation so that the complexity of the NSDE algorithm can be reduced. Moreover, the differential operators are introduced into self-adaptive strategy so that the robustness of the algorithm is improved. The effectiveness and feasibility of the method are verified by applying it to a RBTS-BUS6 system.
