Abstract

Compared with the common droop control method of distributed power supply inverters, it can better simulate the external characteristics of synchronous generators, but it can not simulate the large inertia and output impedance characteristics of synchronous generators. The inertia of synchronous generators is beneficial to restrain the speed of frequency change, to reduce the oscillation caused by parallel connection, and the output impedance can effectively restrain the sudden change of current in power system. By studying and analyzing the mathematical model and external characteristics of synchronous generator, the transient response model of virtual synchronous generator is established, which is similar to the external characteristics of traditional synchronous generator, and its correctness is verified by simulation.
