Abstract

With the increasing capacity of China's power grid, as power transformer is the core equipment of power system, whose the operation reliability of becomes more and more important. In order to ensure the safe operation of transformer, aiming at the problems of complex transformer winding, the dense modal parameters and the large damping, the modal experiment and vibration characteristic test of the large 110kV entity transformer are carried out. This experiment achieve a study of the method of modal parameter identification of transformer winding which based on EMD(Empirical Mode Decomposition),and compares the recognition results with the existing modal parameters identification results such as Ploymax. The results show that the identification method of transformer winding modal parameters based on empirical mode decomposition has higher recognition accuracy.
