Abstract
The torque axis is the axis of rotation when the powertrain is in pitch motion after receiving the torque. The modal decoupling rate of the mounting system can be improved by selecting the position of the mounting components according to the torque axis. The calculation formula of the torque axis is derived, and the position of the torque axis is calculated according to the formula. Then the 6-DOF model of powertrain mounting system is established by ADAMS software. 11 groups of different torque axis angles of mounting system are selected for simulation analysis. The simulation results show that when the torque axis angle is -87°, the modal decoupling rate and modal frequency of the mounting system are the best.
