Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of photovoltaic power generation system, it is necessary to track the maximum power point. Based on the analysis of the traditional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm, an MPPT algorithm based on extreme value search is proposed in this paper to quickly track the maximum power point and improve the dynamic performance of the system. The simulation model was built in MATLAB/Simulink for verification, and the maximum power point of the photovoltaic power generation system was tracked quickly and accurately, with good dynamic performance.
