Abstract

The state of charge (SOC) estimation of the marine lithium battery pack is verified by the Vmin unscented Kalman filter. The simulation verifies that the Vmin unscented Kalman filter method has higher accuracy in estimating the battery pack SOC. At the same time, researching on health management strategy of lithium battery packs in combination with ship operating conditions and analyzing the state of charge, single voltage, current and photovoltaic power of marine lithium battery pack, the battery status are divided into three states: healthy, sub-healthy and unhealthy. The actual ship operation shows that the battery pack health management can ensure the lithium battery pack works within the safe range.
