Abstract

There are few studies on the total magnetic field localization and tracking algorithm based on the domestic magnetic dipole model, and the scalar magnetometer’s measurement of magnetic targets is not affected by its own posture. Therefore, a magnetic localization and tracking algorithm based on the total magnetic field is proposed., this method is based on the magnetic dipole model and uses the particle swarm algorithm and the extended Kalman auxiliary algorithm to achieve magnetic localization and tracking. The effectiveness of this method has been verified through simulation experiments. The relative localization error is small and maintained in the range of about 10%.
