Liu, X.L., 2020. Research on logistics service innovation of international major ports under marine economic strategy. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 283-285. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.With the rapid development of China's foreign economic and trade, port enterprises as bridges of international trade have achieved unprecedented development. As an amphibious transportation hub, modern international ports have obvious gaps in their functions as resource allocation centers that support the development of the world economy and international trade. Transportation enterprises are facing new challenges. They must improve service quality under the condition of reduced profit margin and provide more service types to customers while improving market response speed. Port is an important part of the transportation chain. Facing the changes of the current market environment, international ports are gradually transforming into logistics service providers. International ports play a special role in modern logistics activities. On the basis of summarizing the status and function of port in modern logistics activities and the basic functions of international port logistics services, this paper analyzes the necessity of expanding the logistics functions of port.
