Abstract

Pressurizer leakage can cause reactor coolant loss and primary coolant pressure drop, inducing accidents. In order to solve the leakage problem of pressurizer, a leakage monitoring method based on fuzzy inference is studied. In this method, the change rate of operation parameters related to the leakage of the pressurizer is taken as the input variable of the fuzzy inference module, the Mamdani-type inference system is used for reasoning, and the fault probability operation is used to analyze the results, thus the leakage monitoring results of the pressurizer are obtained. The simulation data of the nuclear power simulator are used to verify the proposed method. The test results of normal operation, liquid phase leakage of pressurizer, vapor phase leakage of pressurizer and simultaneous leakage of liquid phase and cold end of primary circuit in typical working conditions show that the proposed method is feasible; compared with other leakage monitoring methods, this method is simple and easy to implement, thus providing an alternative scheme for leakage monitoring of pressurizers.
