Abstract

This paper mainly focuses on the I/O cache of the server layer device of the network block device in the embedded background. It proposes a method focusing on different read/write loading features, configuring the cache capacity ratio utilized for isolated processing reading data and writing data, and an algorithm for automatically analyzing sequential addressing writing and random addressing writing data streams. The effectiveness of the algorithm for automatically analyzing sequential addressing writing and random addressing writing data streams is verified by experiments. The experimental results show that according to the different interleaving conditions of the data stream, the proportion of the data stream can be written in sequential addressing, which can be different in all input data streams. After separating sequential data streams interleaved by three inputs, the percentage of data streams written in sequential addressing is significantly increased by 50%.

Highlights

  • Entering the 21st century, network communication and computer technology are showing a rapid development trend

  • The number of functions that can be written is reduced to only three random addressing processes to write, the spontaneous addressing write rate is reduced by 50%, and the effect of reducing the proportion of random addressing is pronounced

  • As for solid-state hard disks, random addressing writing is not as good as sequential addressing writing with higher performance and faster writing speed

INTRODUCTION

Entering the 21st century, network communication and computer technology are showing a rapid development trend. The NBD has several common branches, such as DRBD (Distributed Replicated Block Device), ENBD (Extended Network Block Device), and GNBD (Global Network Block Device), etc It provides file mirroring and backup services for the hosts that are connected in the local area network and configured with the DRBD protocol and can achieve end-to-end data perform mirror backup in time and quickly update mirrored data. The RNBD is the performance expansion of NBD network block equipment on embedded equipment with high real-time requirements.. The RNBD is the performance expansion of NBD network block equipment on embedded equipment with high real-time requirements.4 Most of these functional branches set the use of the NBD under specific application requirements and improve and expand it according to particular needs on performance. Different storage management designs can be carried out according to specific I/O load types
