Abstract

In order to develop Chinese coal mine industry in a safe, efficient, and green manner, the pure water hydraulic technology was studied and put into the real practice. The traditional power medium for hydraulic transmission system is emulsified liquid, and its emission to underground coal mine is hazardous to the environment. Here, an innovative method by replacing the emulsified liquid as pure water was thoroughly studied and applied to a pilot practice. Several key technologies are mainly focused, including high-strength corrosion-resistance material, anti-corrosion material surface modification, high pressure sealing technique for pure water medium, flow division control technology, cavitation control technique for large-flow unloading valve, etc. By solving those key technical difficulties, an integrated pumping system under pure water medium condition was successfully developed and demonstrated in 31408 working face of Jinjie Coal Mine of Shendong Company, CHN energy group. The test results show that the average resistivity of pure water produced from the system is 6.5 MΩ * cm and the average resistivity of returning water is 2. 5 MΩ * cm. The performance indicators all meet the requirements of green and efficient coal production in a fully mechanized mining face.
