Abstract

Interferometer direction finding has the advantages of simple equipment, wide airspace coverage and high direction finding accuracy, and is widely used in radar reconnaissance equipment. However, due to the limitation of front-end antenna gain, the sensitivity of radar reconnaissance equipment using interferometer direction finding system is limited, which affects the combat effectiveness of radar reconnaissance equipment to a certain extent. Digital beam forming technology can form a high-gain beam pattern in a specific space to improve beam gain. The combination of interferometer direction finding technology and digital beam forming technology can not only achieve high direction finding accuracy, but also obtain high sensitivity, which is widely used in radar reconnaissance equipment. In this paper, the interferometer direction finding algorithm is studied on the basis of digital beam forming. This method can satisfy both high direction finding accuracy and high sensitivity in the case of a small amount of equipment, which provides a reference for engineering practice.
