Abstract
This paper discusses the deficiencies of the flooding broadcast mechanism in Bluetooth Mesh networks and puts forth an enhanced routing protocol Olq-AODV. The limitations of traditional AODV routing protocols are particularly evident in smart light networks with high node density, where packet redundancy and link quality judgment are crucial. To this end, Olq-AODV introduces an optimized link quality judgment mechanism in the process of route discovery, considering delay, hop count, and cascade PRR, with the aim of improving the transmission efficiency and reliability of the network. The test results demonstrate that the Olq-AODV routing protocol outperforms the traditional flooding algorithm in terms of network transmission delay and packet delivery rate, and effectively improve the performance of Bluetooth Mesh networks.
