Abstract
AbstractIn VMI mode, logistics outsourcing to third-party logistics, although vendors can solve logistics capabilities and information issues such as lack of capacity, but also increases the complexity of the operation of the VMI. VMI-based third party logistics operation mode (i.e. VMI & TPL mode), the supply chain information flow and logistics bound to change. For example VMI mode transport, distribution and inventory management changes; information sources, information transmission and information sharing changes. Therefore, for the introduction of third-party logistics VMI works, how to effectively integrate information flow and logistics, third party logistics and VMI achieve the organic integration has become necessary to solve the problem.
