Abstract

The integrated aerial building formwork equipment is an independently developed support apparatus by China, which is primarily and importance for the construction of concrete structures in ultra high buildings exceeding 200 m. The novelty of this paper focuses on optimizing and improving the load transmission system and its critical large bearing support structure connecting the tower crane through theoretical analysis and finite element numerical calculation. By obtaining the stress ratio and maximum deformation before and after integrated optimization design, a local strengthening scheme for the tower crane support tube is proposed to simplify the structural connection while significantly reducing self-weight and steel consumption without compromising mechanical performance requirements, thus improving the overall performance of the integrated formwork equipment for aerial building construction.
