Abstract

Based on the data of 528 college students from a university in Xi'an as a sample, the study uses SPSS24.0 software to transform all variables to obtain the corresponding measurement results and perform correlation and descriptive analysis. Using behavior, cognition, and emotional engagement as dependent variables, adding gender, grade, major and course nature as control variables, teacher support, developmental feedback, dormitory learning atmosphere, parental independent support, and school support as independent variables to establish regression. The equation is made for stepwise regression analysis. In order to explore the current situation of college students' learning engagement and related influencing factors. The results show that the overall level of college students'learning engagement is low. Comparatively speaking, the emotional engagement is the highest and the behavior engagement is the lowest; teacher support, teacher developmental feedback, dormitory learning atmosphere, parental independent support and school support are all significantly correlated with college students' learning engagement. We encourage teachers to provide developmental feedback and support for college students. We suggest that college students take dormitory as a unit to form a good learning atmosphere of helping each other. Home-school cooperation, jointly promote the improvement of college students' learning engagement and education quality.
