Abstract

Laser is used to accelerate the electron-positron plasma by ponderomotive force. Due to the electric field, electron and positron will have transverse diffusion in the acceleration. In this paper, a scheme is proposed to get high-energy particle beam by binding electron-positron plasma with hollow gold target. The transverse diffusion is restrained in the gold target. Particles can be continuously accelerated by ponderomotive force and the neutral particle beam is obtained in space. The tight focusing of laser makes the ponderomotive force stronger and stronger in the cone target. The energy gain obtained by the scheme is far beyond the limit of the ponderomotive force, which provides theoretical support for the practical application of electron-positron beam.
