Abstract

Abstract Inertial mass simulation system is widely used in inertia load simulation of space mechanisms. The error of the inertia mass has a great influence on the mechanism performance test. In this paper, the in-situ measurement technology of flywheel inertial mass is studied: firstly, the theory of in-situ inertial mass measurement is analyzed by use of mass-spring model; secondly, the simulation models of the flywheel before or after attaching counterweights are established based on Sim-Mechanics of MATLAB; at last, according to the simulation test and analysis of the model, the correctness of the theoretical derivation of in-situ measurement is verified, which lays a theoretical foundation for in-situ inertial mass measurement of the flywheel.
