Abstract

With the development of the power IoT in China, Various kinds of business terminals emerge endlessly. And the low computing power makes it difficult to run PKI authentication measures based on digital certificates, which brings opportunities for attackers and seriously threatens the security of business systems. This paper firstly introduces the security risks of the sensing terminals access to power IoT, secondly researches the user authentication technology, and then designs and implements a lightweight authentication protocol based on appropriate technology, considering that the PKI improves the difficulty of terminal authentication in large-scale IoT and the CPK reduces the security of terminal access authentication, and finally evaluates the advantage of the protocol based on attack testing and application data. The results show that the lightweight authentication protocol has a high reference value for terminal authentication, data transmission security and even the overall security protection of the perception layer in power IoT. And the lightweight authentication protocol can be used for preventing terminal counterfeiting and data leakage.
