Abstract

Aiming at establishing a high-precision large-scale scene in flight simulation, a high-precision terrain dynamic loading method based on flight trajectory prediction is proposed. The dynamic Bayesian network model for aircraft maneuver online identification is established according to the flight parameter. What’s more, the flight trajectory prediction mathematical model is designed for each maneuver motion, which improves the accuracy of flight trajectory prediction. By predicting the flight trajectory and line of sight direction of the aircraft in the future, the view frustum culling algorithm is used to accurately select and load the terrain block. Experiments show that the proposed method can dynamically load terrain with high efficiency, which can solve the problem of terrain missing blocks effectively and make up for the problem of slow data scheduling between memory and external memory.
