Abstract

In this paper, the helix theory is applied to the theoretical analysis and formula derivation of the hydraulic six- degree-of-freedom parallel platform for flight simulator. The expression of the forward and inverse solutions of the helical motion equation of the platform's acceleration and velocity under the known engineering conditions is given. The development prospect of the six-degree-of-freedom parallel platform is analyzed based on the consideration of engineering practicability and feasibility. And some useful conclusions are drawn.
