Abstract

With the advent of the era of big data, the development of retail industry also needs to constantly change to match the environment, traditional retail industry needs to reform in order to survive in the market. At the same time, the new retail industry transformation has become the general trend, and the economic changes brought by the transformation can be directly reflected through the financial performance. Therefore, this paper selects 52 new retail listed companies as research samples, using factor analysis method to evaluate the financial performance indicators, analyze the current situation of new retail companies in China. The research shows that the financial performance of the new retail listed companies is good, but the overall level still has some room for improvement. In view of the current situation of the financial performance of the new retail industry, suggestions are put forward to improve the financial performance from the four aspects of service platform, debt ratio, supply chain distribution, and economies of scale, so as to promote the good development of China’s new retail market.
