Research on Fault Isolation Technology and Device Development of LVDC System

Abstract

In view of the current research status of the protection device of LVDC system with single protection function and high protection cost, corresponding protection methods for different fault types are put forward in this article. Integrating the protection method, a comprehensive isolation protection device is developed, which is composed of fault detection circuit, single-chip microcomputer control circuit and isolation unit, and integrates short-circuit protection, grounding protection, AC intrusion into DC protection and ring network protection. The experimental results show that the comprehensive isolation device can quickly cut off the short circuit, and can limit the fault in the fault branch when the faults occur, so as to ensure the normal operation of the LVDC branches.
