Abstract

The paper incorporates cable fault detection and location function to conventional SSPC (Solid State Power Controllers), which enhances the ability of fault diagnosis while improving fault coverage rate of the system, as well as realizing the precise positioning of cable fault distance. Aiming at the problem of relatively low cable fault detection rate of the cable positioning device, the concept of multi-valued logic is introduced, and the comprehensive diagnosis method based on multi-valued logic for the system is proposed. The feasibility of this method in fault diagnosis problem of aircraft secondary distribution system based on SSPC is analyzed theoretically. The results show that compared with conventional SSPC, the developed SSPC can enhance the ability of fault diagnosis and location of the system and improve the security and reliability of the system.
