Abstract

With a large number of photovoltaics connected to the distribution network, the distribution network has changed from the traditional single-power radiation network to a distribution network with multi-terminal power supply structure. The access of photovoltaics makes the distribution network structure more complex, and it also brings great challenges to power system fault analysis and location. Therefore, an adaptive time-limited positive sequence current quick-break protection and fault location method is proposed, At the same time, in order to solve the problem that the traditional overcurrent protection is too long when it is close to the power supply, the inverse time overcurrent protection method is taken as the third stage current protection. By improving the cooperation between the inverse time overcurrent protection and the traditional three-stage current protection, the action time of the protection is significantly shortened, and the rapidity of the protection is improved.
