Abstract

At present, China's construction industry is in a high-quality development stage. In this critical period of transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, the overall quality and safety of construction projects have attracted more and more attention. Among them, the structural design of building engineering is the key link of building engineering, and its safety design directly affects the construction quality and service life of the whole building engineering. At present, the fundamental reason for the frequent occurrence of safety accidents in construction projects is not only the ineffective human supervision in the construction process, but also the inability of traditional structural design methods to avoid and predict potential safety hazards in advance, resulting in endless safety design problems. Based on this, this paper will face the structural design stage of architectural engineering and realize the transformation of the structural design mode of architectural engineering with the help of BIM technology. In addition, Revit software is selected to build a 3D visual information model of an architectural engineering structure, and a safety evaluation system is constructed. The significance of the application and popularization of BIM technology in structural safety design of architectural engineering is proved by an example analysis method.
