Abstract

Innovative industrial cluster (IIC) is a high-end model of traditional industrial cluster (TIC), and it is a brand-new model of economic organization with innovation as a driving force. This study first defines the basic concept of IIC, and then discusses its evolution mechanism by analyzing the growth period, evolution path and stages, and finally gives relevant policy suggestions on stimulating the development of IIC.
