Abstract

In order to solve the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problem of the high precision measurement system in a research center, the EMC characteristics of the measurement system and the surrounding electronic equipment are analyzed. The mechanism that the sensors in the measurement system are susceptible to electromagnetic interference is analyzed in depth, and the common measures to protect them from electromagnetic interference are introduced. It is determined that the main electromagnetic disturbance source around the measuring system is the servo drive system. The composition of servo drive system and the characteristics of electromagnetic disturbance are introduced and analyzed. The electromagnetic immunity characteristics of the measurement system are tested, including conducted immunity and radiated immunity. The electromagnetic emission characteristics of the servo drive system are tested, including conducted emission and radiation emission. The EMC immunity level curve of the measurement system is obtained by analyzing the test data. According to the sensitive electromagnetic frequency band of the measurement system, the electromagnetic emission of the servo system is rectified. Finally, the measurement system and servo system are redesigned and optimized to make the measurement system free from the electromagnetic interference of peripheral equipment and achieve the required measurement accuracy.
